While staying fully involved in school events can be a challenge, there is also a big payoff. A major meta-analysis by the Harvard Family Research Project concluded that children with highly involved parents performed significantly better than their peers in overall educational outcomes, grades, and academic achievement.

Our amazing FoBIS (Friends of BIS) members set the bar for parental involvement in the school. From social projects, to community-building events, to fundraising, FoBIS is the glue that holds our community of families together.
